Recently had my very first appt with Ashley, the PA. After being essentially ignored by my Urologist for nearly 15 months, Ashley immediately addressed my concerns and got a preliminary diagnosis in place, along with treatment and additional testing. I left Ashley’s office in tears because I felt so relieved that someone finally listened to me after suffering for so long. I finally feel like I am in the best hands possible. I am very pleased so far. My surgery was done by Dr. Aimee Nguyen at Plano Presbyterian Hospital on Tuesday. It required a one night sstay and most of the next day in the hospital. Surgery went well but I did not pass the bladder test on Wednesday afternoon so I had to go home with a catheter for 2 nights, and return to the office in Frisco for another catheter test, which I passed with no problems. My pain is well controlled with 500 mg Tylenol, but I have stronger pain medication if needed. I feel very good so far. I highly recommend Dr. Aimee Nguyen for women with pelvic floor issues, including bladder problems. It has been 5 weeks since my surgery and I am doing great. Walking is a large part of recovery so I have been walking as much as I can, usually 1 - 2 miles per day. I will continue to have physical restrictions for a while as my body continues to heal but I am very pleased with the outcome so far. I highly recommend Dr. Aimee Nguyen for any pelvic floor issues. Great surgeon. Dr Nguyen worked around my scar tissue from a previous surgery so operation could still be done robotically. Recovery did not require heavy pain meds. Glad I had the surgery. More

Exceptional care - Dr Nguyen was referred by my GP and after reading up on her I felt confident. I don't know what the problem is but for the amount of people working in this facility they should have a person just to awenser phone calls. At the first visit of seeing Dr. Aimee Nguyen she is a light that brightened up the room. Her bedside manner is the best. Very caring and loving and kind and has a fun personality! The procedures she performed was a posterior repair and sling. Also a labiaplasty of the majora and vaginoplasty. It is now four months after my surgery and I am so satisfied with all that she's done . Insecurities I felt of being intimate with my husband have been restored... Dr. Nguyen and Ashley were very professional and thorough with answers to my questions regarding surgery. I am about 10 weeks out from hysterectomy/prolapse surgery and recovery is going well. Limitations are spelled out clearly for the first 6-8 weeks. I did experience pain in the first 24 hours which was controlled with pain medication at the hospital. Once I came home, I only needed Tylenol and took Ibuprofen a few times to manage discomfort. Thank you Dr. Nguyen and staff. More

Aimee Nuguyen took excellent care of me. She explained all my options to address my uteran prolapse. I chose to have a laprascopic/robotic hysterectomy. Solved my problem when other providers had not. One tiny glitch. Even though I was an on going patient the prescription was called into a pharmacy in Frisco instead of Sam’s Pharmacy in Sherman. Taylor at the Frisco pharmacy was very pro active in working in contacting me and transferring the prescription to my pharmacy within minutes of her pharmacy closing. I was able to pickup my prescription in Sherman and then was able to achieve a greatly need relief. More

This review is based on my experience only....I had a prolapsed bladder, that was extremely uncomfortable & I felt it collapse at end of 2022. I did not want a male doctor and my female physician recommended Dr. Aimee Nguyen. My surgery took place on 4/3/2023 and only hours after surgery, I felt no pain. Today marks my 6 week post op and Dr. Nguyen said I was great. The process was lengthy, but not much you can do. After surgery you will not be able to bend for approximately 7 weeks, but you can walk in moderation. I truly feel that I made the right choice in doctors for this procedure. My bladder prolapsed because I am a very active 67 year old and I lift and push heavy things. But now I have given this up and will ask for help. Don't be afraid and have faith in God and you will be okay. I feel wonderful. Hope I am able to give some hope to those that are hesitant about having this procedure done . More

Dr. Nguyen’s office was very welcoming and efficient. Every visit was timely, very little waiting & each step was met with a friendly & capable medical staff. My gynecologist recommended Dr. Nguyen & she was so right. My surgery went very well & the results are as Dr. Nguyen promised. I almost postponed my surgery due to another issue, but Chandler kept my slot open & ultimately I had my surgery.  I would recommend Dr. Nguyen in a minute. The medical staff in the office to the hospital nurses, Texas Health Presby, were exceptional. Dr. Nguyen answered all my questions prior to surgery & was very helpful the day of the surgery. Dr. Nguyen was the third urologist I had visited over the past few years with my prolapsed bladder. The first one gave me a brochure for one option she was promoting. After reading her reviews, it must have been her only option because I identified with many of the negative reviews. The second urologist was less than educational. He gave me options, surgery or pessary, pushing for surgery. I wasn't prepared for surgery so I chose the pessary. I had never heard of the word pessary until that day and he didn't explain much, such as the different pessary designs, and he sure didn't mention the word lubricant. Which brought me to Dr. Nguyen. I am so glad I found her. She has been most helpful with educating me about my choices. I recently chose surgery after using a pessary for a year. I didn't have any complications immediately after the surgery and don't expect to while in my recovery phase. So far, so good. I highly recommend Dr. Aimee Nguyen, M.D. More

So happy that she was able to fix my stress incontinence - I’m 4 weeks post op. Had a hysterectomy, urethral sling and labiaplasty. Can not thank Dr Nguyen and office staff for being so kind and meticulous. No stone left unturned. Chandler sends an email with step by step instructions. Dr Nguyen takes her time explaining the entire process. She allows plenty of time for questions. You never feel rushed. Day of surgery Dr Nguyen reviews the game plan again. She took the time to call my family while I was in recovery. I do not have a high pain tolerance, pretty wimpy really. During my recovery I’ve needed ice packs, ibuprofen and very minimal hydrocodone. I think the worse pain was from the laparoscopic hysterectomy. I required gas-X. The labiaplasty pain is dull. I’m still wearing a panty liner and have sutures. I know I’m not fully healed but I definitely like what I see so far. I thought about this surgery for a year. Man what a wasted year! The recovery has been easy. Struck gold finding Dr Nguyen. I’m so happy that she was able to fix my stress incontinence and make my lady look young and pretty again. From my first appointment the office was very welcoming. I went in thinking I only had a Cystocele and found out I had POP. I was not prepared for this but everyone was patient, empathetic, informative, and explained all my options. Once I decided to proceed with surgery, Chandler the surgery coordinator answered all my questions and let me know exactly what to expect before and after surgery.
