North Dallas Urogynecology provides the most advanced testing to pinpoint the cause of your symptoms and offer an accurate diagnosis. The following diagnostic procedures can be performed in the comfort of our office.

• Uroflowmetry uses a sophisticated measuring device to determine how well you urinate and the strength of the stream. A relatively simple test, you will urinate in a toilet equipped with this special measuring device.
• Urodynamics tests for urinary incontinence and voiding dysfunction. We assess bladder function using two  small catheters (about the size of a strand of spaghetti) to record measurements while we fill the bladder with sterile water.
• Cystoscopy is a diagnostic procedure used to visually examine the inside of your urethra and bladder via a very small, lighted scope called a cystoscope. This procedure will allow us to detect inflammation, stones, or tumors of the bladder.
